What started as a search for the perfect place to build a home quickly turned into something much bigger.  While looking for property in Plymouth, California, Melanie and Jeff Siesser discovered a breathtaking estate that was connected to a vineyard.  Although they had never owned a winery before, their entrepreneurial spirit and love of the land inspired them to take a leap of faith and purchased the 315-acre Rancho Victoria Vineyard & Winery.

Since taking ownership in January 2025, Melanie and Jeff have poured their hearts into transforming Rancho Victoria while preserving the beauty and history that make it so special.    Together, they have invested in extensive renovations, enhanced the guest experience, expanded the wine portfolio, elevated the winery's concerts and events, and created a welcoming destination where friends and families can gather to relax and make lasting memories.

Melanie oversees the winery's day-to-day operations, including marketing, events, wine club, hospitality and business management.  Jeff leads vineyard operations, overseeing the care of the vineyard, managing farming operations, and continually improving the property to produce exceptional fruit.

Ranching has always been a part of the Siesser's Story.  Melanie is a fifth generation Sacramentan whose family settled to the Sacramento Valley after arriving with The Donner Party.  She comes from a long line of cattle ranchers, making the restoration of cattle to Rancho Victoria especially meaningful. Because the property was once a working cattle ranch, known as The Greilich Ranch dating back to the 1800's, bringing cattle to the land was a way of honoring both the ranch's history and their family's agricultural heritage.

Melanie and Jeff are proud to have built not only a business, but a blended family that shares a passion for agriculture, hospitality and community. Today, Rancho Victoria is truly a family endeavor. As a blended family, Melanie and Jeff have their children and extended family all play a part in bringing their vision to life.  For Melanie and Jeff, Rancho Victoria is more than a winery- it's a dream they never expected to find.  Their greatest hope is that every guest who visits feels like family, enjoys exceptional wine, and leaves with memories that bring them back again.
